An American Great Dane has just been named the world’s tallest dog by the Guinness Book of World Records.
George is just over one metre tall – that’s three foot seven inches, from paw to shoulder. He is 43 inches tall (from foot to shoulder), 7 ft 3ins (from nose to tail) and weighs 245 lbs (111kg)!
George eats more than 100kg of food a month and even sleeps in his own queen-sized bed.
Owner David Nasser says, while George had big paws as a puppy, there was no indication he would one day be the size of a small pony.
